With all of these, the pricing is subject to change, but we don't expect it to change before the end of 2010. We update our site a lot, so if it's listed here, then it should be right!
Private Guide Fishing and Instruction (Pursuit Anglers)
Prices vary based on the size of the group, the type of fishing trip, and the equipment used.
A fabulous beach fishing trip with Pursuit Anglers starts at $300/person for beach fishing. This is truly the best way to enhance your fishing experience. Spear fishing, fly fishing, and private charter fishing available. Pursuit Anglers uses Rancho Buena Vista as its hub on the East Cape, so our guests have easy access to their great fishing excursions.
Snorkeling and Scuba Diving (Vista Sea Sport)
Prices vary based on the size of the group, the dive destination, and the equipment used.
Pricing begins at $75/person for a simple excursion. Our favorite adventure is a snorkel trip to Cabo Pulmo. Mark and his entire team are extremely professional and are just down the beach from us at Rancho Buena Vista.
Kite-Boarding (ExotiKite Kiteboarding School)
Prices vary depending on your experience, the length of your stay, and other factors.
Be sure to call for our winter 7 night package with Exotikite! We work with Ian and Megan at Exotikite because of their professionalism and their passion for kiting. This adventure is a multi-day adventure for beginners who are seeking to become proficient in the sport. Transportation departs for North Beach (kiting launch) from the office at Rancho Buena Vista. Depending upon your level of skill, Rancho Buena Vista is a downwinder from the Exotikite home base at North Beach.
Zipline Adventure Tour (Cabo-Adventures)
Prices are $85 for adults
We chose to work with Cabo Adventures because of their professionalism and because of the location of their zipline course. A thirty minute drive from Rancho Buena Vista, the Cabo Adventures location is the only zipline in the UNESCO reserve and the result is an unforgettable experience! Note - there are weight limitations to this adventure.
ATV Rentals and ATV Tours (several providers)
Starting at $35/hour for simple rentals. ATV Tours also available and prices vary based on your trip
The mountains beyond Rancho Buena Vista are easily accessed by ATVs and the experienced tour guides take guests up through the dry riverbeds to beautiful areas unimaginable. There are several great guide services in nearby Los Barriles who provide this great service.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Rates begin at $25/hour or $50/day
The calm waters of the East Cape are perfect for this relaxing and exhilerating way to experience the wondrous Baja. The SUP boards will be dropped off at Rancho Buena Vista for this experience.
Golfing in Los Cabos
Rates vary based on the course chosen and size of golfing group
Just an hour away from Rancho Buena Vista are several great golf courses, including Palmilla, Club Campestre San Jose, and Puerto Los Cabos. We also take groups to golf at Cabo del Sol and to the new (and fabulous) Diamante course on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas.
Mountain Biking (Vela)

There are many great mountain biking trails running in the hills behind Rancho Buena Vista and the guides at Vela have been trailblazing the area for years.
Hikes to Santiago to explore the Waterfall and Hot Springs
Rates vary based on the size of the group and the length of the trip (1/2 or full day)
The waterfall and hot springs outside of Santiago are not to be missed! Guests taking this trip are encouraged to also include a lunch at the famous Palomar restaurant in Santiago.
We also have Sports Equipment available for rent at the hotel for those guests looking to explore a little closer to home!
